SUMMARY OF DON'T MESS WITH AN ANGEL ON GALAXY TV

When Marichuy was born her mother, believing herself about to die, gave her to a priest who took her to an orphanage. At 14 years old, Marichuy fled the institution and began to ramble all over, making her living as she could.

The years pass and one day she is attacked by a drunk, which causes her to feel rancor towards men and to suffer nightmares that drive her to despair.

Candelaria, a washer-woman, gives her a home and becomes a mother for her. Marichuy works in whatever way she can to help Candelaria. One day she gets herself involved in a mess and ends up in court, where the judge is her own father (though neither knows of the relationship). She is defended by Juan Miguel San Román, a psychoanalyst.

In order that the girl not be sent to jail, Juan Miguel takes responsibility for her and takes her to live at his house. Juan Miguel is a widow and his mother-in-law makes life impossible for Marichuy.

To avoid problems, Juan Miguel takes her to live at the house of judge Patricio Velarde and his wife Cecilia (the true parents of Marichuy), who at the same time have welcomed Estefanía (an astute young woman who is passing as the child they abandoned).

Juan Miguel and Marichuy fall in love and marry. Nevertheless, on the day following their wedding night, she uncovers a big secret from Juan Miguel's past and therefore spurns him, distances herself from him and refuses to see him again.

When she realizes she is pregnant, Marichuy will not tell him and flees the province with Candelaria, ending up at the hacienda of Leopardo, who gives her shelter and falls in love with her.

Marichuy gives birth and Leopardo wants to marry her and adopt her child, but she tells him she is already married and that what she feels for him is only friendship.

Leopardo doesn't give up and begins to gain her love. Later, he discovers that her husband is Juan Miguel, whom he has known for a long time, they were classmates. The two men vie for the love of Marichuy but, for her, the decision will not be easy.

Marichuy's sweetness and beauty reminds us of an angel, and there are those who think they will be able to destroy her easily, forgetting that an angel is capable of vanquishing a demon, and that's why - be careful with the angel!

GREAT TO BE BACK

What is happening with my friends? Its quite an age, many things kept me out of work and recently I just release I have been away for so long.

The most current of information that people want to hear now is post ume and screening of those of us who passed the Jamb/utme. Uniport has postpone their screening exercise, while unical just announce the sale of their forms.

lets hope they will keep to their word.

ANGELS

This story is all about letting us know that God still have his angels on assignment in our life at all times. It happened to me, so I can tell you authoritatively about it.

I was travelling with my husband recently to the South-South of Nigeria and when we got to Onitsha we met this policeman who seriously displayed that he is wickedness impersonated. He held us hostage for several hours while he took time to collect money from motorist. But when he decided to show how wicked he could be, he boasted that we would not continue with our journey and that he would impound our car, but as he said those words, I refuted them immediately, I told him he can not carry out any of those threats, because he is not God. Passerby pleaded with him to no avail. He initially asked for N5,000.00 and later wanted us to go to station with him and his colleague who he has invited and who is just like him. The colleague boasted that women has to be beaten to teach them as they are like children, all this while I tried to plead with him. By this time my husband has gotten angry and things were almost getting out of hand. The policemen boasted that he has destroyed lives with his gun and my husband will bow before him and my husband told him it was going to be impossible as he is not God. All these while God was washing and listening, then suddenly he sent an angel. This man came from nowhere and met us with these two officers and he asked for a favour from them and that favour was that we should be released, he does not know us and does not want to know our offence, interestingly, he too is an officer, who has be of immense help to the wicked man and he was made to do his bidding. We thanked the man and drove off, as we were leaving the scene the man was just walking towards the town and I said to my husband this is really an angel sent to us by God, because it seems to have no business passing through that road at that time.

Another angel came to our rescue again in form of policemen. When we got to Benue state, we just realized that big trucks packed across the road, about 3-4 of them and we were just passing them on foot part of the road. We met policemen after these trucks and they instructed us to turn back that robbers were operating ahead, they promise to show us another route which they did. Nigeria police helping one out of robbery situation, they must be angels of God, because this was around 7.30-8,00 pm and in that part of Nigeria, everywhere was already dark.

Why did I believe they were angels, because I always asked that God release his ministering angels and that day he did and I am very thankful to him. If you know this God, he can do more for you. Try him today, you will be glad you did.

PERSUASION

Sometimes we sit down and wonder why some people gets divine lifting and others don’t, though they are both Christians and believers. We tend to ask questions and we may even want to ask if God is not partial. But I want us to examine this: If they are both believers: do they both have the same conviction on the truth i.e. the word of God? Yes they are both believers but with different level of persuasion in the word of God.

What I am practically telling us is that, truly what you believe determine where you are going in life. But your persuasion or conviction on your believe determine how far you can go in life. Rom. 14:14, Peter tells us of his persuasion. Persuasion is our conviction against all odds on what we believe. Persuasion will help you to hold on, even in a very tough and difficult situation. The widow woman in the book of 1Kings 17:10-16. She was persuaded in her believe on what the man of God said to her.

But if we only believe and refuse to be convinced/persuaded about the WORD we believe, doubt sets in, and we sure cannot have God promises of Divine increase, lifting, health etc in that way. Many a time, people hear the word of God and they study and believe, but when trouble or trials of life comes, they fail, because their believe is not with conviction. If we are persuaded about the truth whatever happens, the word of God, which we believe will keep us going until we achieve God purpose for us. This is because our persuasion helps us to hold firm to the truth at all time.

In conclusion, I say one of the greatest, if not the greatest motivation to live for God and have divine increase in life, is how firm we hold on to whatever we believe and persuaded about. As a believer, that should be the truth which can only originate from our faith (our cure foundation) in Christ Jesus.
P E A C E.

Let your life be with a difference. You may wish to ask me how? Men and women alike seem to have similiar complaint daily on how the world is becoming a difficult place to live in. Some complain about their home, education, the world economy etc. But you can decide to be different by concentrating and thinking of what you think is necessary to do at this point. Are you to learn a vocation as student who has been hanging at home for a while now due to Nigerian government attitude toward our youth education or due to your country economic situation? Or you are seeking for admission for close to a year or more without any luck. Do not see the situation as a hopeless one. Just act as a unique person that you are. Take up the challenge and do something with your life.

There is no money someone out there will say, that I know, but with that time you waste going to friends and family members who see you as a burden, while not think of going to that workshop near you and find out what the young man there is doing with the wood and leather around him or the mechanic down the road, how he is handling the car that was brought for fixing?. Let me tell you this truth that when you finally finish your education, such knowledge will come handy. Don't waste this precious time , use your time well and you will be sure to be proud of your action in future.

Appreciation

I gotthis story from someone close to me. He went on a trip to his hometown far away Delta State, on his way back the bus on which he was traveling had some problems. It got fixed and they continue the journey, not long after, the bus tire went off while on a high speed. God saved them. But sure, everyone would start conplaining of how far they would have gone instead of be held up on the road. According to him, he told other co-travellers that they should not travel on the same bus again, and so the transport company was called for another bus, request the transport company granted. So the journey continue, on their way they met a robbery scene, where about three persons were killed and others robbed. He remembered how they had wasted time behind and imagine what would have become of them if not for the issues they had with their vehicle.

So when I travelled this weekend as well and was caught up in a traffic on Akure-Ife Expressway, I remembered the testimony of the young man and encouraged myself that, instead of complaining I rather thank God, because I do not know what is in the offering ahead if I happened to get further fast as I would really have wished. So I am encouraging us to always appreciate God, in any situation, we find ourselves and believe him for the best of the situation. It does not matter what religion you belong to, God protects us all, in different ways.

Good Example

I am glad to be back here today. I wish to share this wonderful story which I think will inspire someone out there.

In today's world we all need help in one way or the other and when those you trust to come to your rescue are not available for that purpose, we tend to get hurt. Honestly, there is no need for it.

There is this young woman who find herself in a very difficult health problem and the hope for life was almost impossible. This lady believe that she would make it against all odds. Keeping faith is not easy in situation of health, when all you know is pain and pain. But she kept faith and believe that with God she will make it. Guess what? During this period those that ought to matter and be of concern and help were not available for her. Guys that profess love were busy, possibly too busy to share this period with her. Some friends, relations and co-workers seems to be the hardworking ones.

In this situation I believe many of us will develop the spirit of hatred in us to a level that after the ailment, we would have more enemies than friends. No, that is not the way, this lady did not do that, rather she told herself that those who were available in her time of crisis were those who truly matter in her life and others did not real matter and so she appreciated God for all those who stood by her and others she care less about. i.e she related with them as if nothing happened. Guess what, she is better for it. Why? She enjoy her life without bitterness. I have learnt a leason from this lady's life, which is not dwelling in things that will offend you. This is a better way of life.
